I've received my ARF 116234 V2 (Blue dial with stick hour markers) a while ago and posted a few links to pictures of it. Somewhere in those pages is a picture from Stufuse which has the DW switched to a roulette. Hey guys, So, I have briefly decided to share my opinion of my Rolex DateJust 116234 by ARF after owning it for a few weeks. Firstly, I'd like to.
You posting a pic of a gen Rolex is spot on like, the gen bezel is thinner and they should be than the ARF but that’s not the view I had query with. Instead it’s the depth measurement of your gen bezel that looks much shorter than I’d know a gen 116234 fluted bezel. It's far from a maxi (GMT, Sub) case, but it's kind of a maxi-DJ-36-case. hidden clasp is lower profile and doesn't stick out/scratch as much. the railroad tracks around the dial are a long time iconic signature of the datejust. the new dials look more like oyster perpetual dials now. the extra power reserve on the new models doesn't really mean much to me with my wear frequency. I own a 116234 and have owned multiple 16234s (and some 1601s too).have to say the newer bracelets are SO NICE. Anyway, some design differences worth noting: - although both 36mm, the 116234 wears/looks larger #1. Hi all, I have built a 116234.
